Alicia Witt was a musician right from the beginning of her screen career although she's more known as an actor, composer, musician or singer. After a decade of primarily working as a piano player and singer, she debuted her first album. It showcased Alicia Witt's clear connection to Elton John, Billy Joel and others, with her warm and powerful voice. Her first studio album, the Ben Folds-produced Revisionary History, appeared in 2015. The Conduit, her debut release as co-producer in 2021 is followed in 2021 by the album Revisionary History. Alicia Witt made her first appearance onscreen as Alia Atreides, in David Lynch's 1984 adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. She was a pianist the piano before she started acting was no surprise that she got pigeonholed during the beginning as a performer. While she appeared on screen more, her career as a musician did not commence until the year 1995.
